Sarah Mayer

Sarah Mayer is a multidisciplinary designer whose formal training in fashion design enables her to work seamlessly across fashion, and collectible design. Her early career included an internship with Belgian fashion visionary Walter Van Beirendonck (Antwerp Six), winning the Lectra Award for her Hyper Craft collection, and working as a costume designer wardrobe stylist on film sets.

Her foundation in physical fashion design naturally expanded into the digital realm, where she explores new possibilities for form and materiality. Through digital masks and AR designs available on Snapchat, and TikTok, she redefines fashion. This process has come full circle, as she now translates her 3D digital creations into physical objects, blurring the boundaries between the virtual and tangible.

Her work has been featured in Temple Magazine, Glitch Magazine, and Coeval Magazine and exhibited at Wunderwall.xyz at Plus One Gallery (Antwerp), Screenwear at the Design Museum Den Bosch (Netherlands), ASIAN FRONT ART SHOW (Osaka, Japan), FTI – Flanders Technology and Innovation Festival, and MAD Brussels – Fashion Moves (2024).

Today, her deep understanding of form, material, and space allows her to work fluidly across fashion, objects, and furniture, constantly exploring new intersections between the physical and digital worlds.
