Whooden/Studios has been supporting key launches for permanent and limited release collections for Milk Makeup with disruptive visual worlds, strategic thinking across social & digital, casting, as well as full 360 campaigns. In addition to key launches, Whooden built a CGI library of assets for Milk which enabled quick activation of product launches, campaigns and social assets. Our most recent campaign for the launch of the Watermelon Jelly Glow and Cooling Water Jelly Glow saw 1.8+ million organic views in the first day for the launch. Some other notable campaigns include — The KUSH 3.0., the launch of the Wu-Tang x Milk Makeup line of limited-edition lipsticks. As well as the anthem film where we Whooden/Studios celebrated the brand’s NYC roots, its commitment to good ingredients and its support for the underrepresented. The films launched across in-store displays globally, social media, OOH & advertising.

The KUSH 3.0. visceral and moving black and white campaign was directed by Georgie Greville and Shreya Chopra staring three female musicians, Mereba, Charlotte Lawrence & 070 Shake.










Our collaboration with Milk Makeup is a great case study in utilizing photo-realistic CGI in place of live action shoots. WithCGI you can create motion & still content across social, digital & point-of-sale. We started by creating an evergreen library of 3D models for the Milk Makeup product line, enabling us to quickly create motion & still assets as needed for current & future applications.
In Milk Makeup’s Anthem film, Whooden celebrated the brand’s NYC roots and its commitment to good ingredients and epic payoff. The film highlights each of the hero products responsible for taking the brand to new heights and sets the overall tone of the brand. Hero products were studied and championed through a combination of assets, which collaged live-action application footage and CGI animations built entirely in-house. The Anthem and its multiple versions were launched across global in-store displays, social media, OOH & advertising. Diplo feat. Nicky Da B - “Express Yourself” track cements the energy of the footage and the attitude of the eclectic cast.
